HALF-WAY THERE CHALLENGE!

This is an exercise in advanced sentence combining. 

Sentence 1: The students eagerly exchanged information about how to work together on the presentation they were making.
Sentence 2: They posted their information and ideas to a wiki they had created specifically for that presentation.


Grammar:

1.    Use an gerund to combine the sentences.
2.    Use an infinitive to combine the sentences.

2. The students eagerly exchanged information about how to work together on the presentation they were making, with permission, they posted their information and ideas to a wiki they had created specifically for that presentation.

But your second answer does not use an infinitive to combine the sentences.

Here is the sort of thing I was looking for:

1. Posting their information and ideas to a wiki they had created specifically for that presentation, the students eagerly exchanged information about how to work together on the presentation they were making.

2. To exchange information about how to work together on the presentation they were making, the students posted their information and ideas to a wiki they had created specifically for that presentation.
