*SENTENCE COMBINATION*

Learning to combine ideas into more complex sentences is an important writing skill. There are many ways to do this. Try to combine the following three sentences.
Sentence 1: Daylight Saving Time begins on March 9th this year.
Sentence 2: Spring officially starts on March 20th this year.
Sentence 3: Despite the calendar information and time change, most of Canada is still definitely experiencing winter.

It is true that Daylight Savings Time Begins on March 9th year, despite the calendar information and time change, most of Canada is still definitely experiencing winter, even though spring officially starts on March 20th this year.

Good effort, but there are still some problems. Here's a possible solution:


Daylight Saving Time beings on March 9th this year, and Spring officially starts on March 20th, but despite the calendar information and time change, most of Canada is still definitely expecting winter.
