It is important to recognize the role of both mothers and fathers in society today, speaking of fathers; many fathers, it is nice to have a celebration for fathers, now take a very active role in bringing up their children.

A good effort, Swood177, but there are a number of problems here.

You have used a comma splice, confused the punctuation, and overlooked the requested grammar items.

Here are some possible answers:

Recognizing the role of both mothers and fathers in society today is important as fathers now take a very active role in bringing up their children and it is nice to have a celebration for them.

It is nice to have a celebration for fathers, who now take a very active role in bringing up their children, as it is important to recognize the role of both mothers and fathers in society today.
