VOCABULARY

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. 

Use the following two words in one sentence (note the parts of speech).

abdicate (verb) and democracy (noun).

The choice to abdicate power should be chosen by a democracy.

Good try, Eugenie. But "the choice...was chosen" sounds a little awkward. Maybe you could say "The choice to abdicate power should be made by a democracy".
