*ACTIVE vs. PASSIVE*

Write two sentences using the verb forget.

In the first sentence, use the word in the active voice; in the second sentence, use it in the passive voice.

The students forget to submit the assignment.
2-passive voice
The assignment was forgotten.

Good try, Logan. But your second sentence is not in the passive voice; it just makes "forget" into a gerund.

Remember, the passive voice uses the "be" verb and the participle form of the main verb. In this case, it should be "[be] forgotten"; e.g., "The keys were forgotten in the car".
