This year I will celebrate Father's Day; even though,I work the evening shift.

ROBERT: #1--check the punctuation, #2--that's another phrase; #3-yes, but can you check for missing apostrophes?

For the first time this year, I will celebrate Father’s day because the whole family will be together including my father.
3. Independent clause.
For the first time this year, I will celebrate Father’s day. The whole family will be celebrating Father’s day.

VIVIEN: #1--meaning is unclear--it only comes once a year--would a comma help? #2--yes, but that comma after the phrase is not right; #3--You need to add an independent clause not a separate sentence;-)
