BUILD-A-SENTENCE
The following question is similar to the one in part 3 of the Engl 140 final exam. Write a sentence using the vocabulary and grammar indicated.
Write a sentence using a dependent clause in the past perfect progressive tense + an independent clause in the past perfect + an independent clause in the simple past.

I had been playing piano, my little sister had wanted to play me song, so I gave her a chance to play the song that she wanted to.
Excellent!
But you forgot the conjunction for your dependent clause, Madicynn.
I think you want to say something like:
WHILE I had been playing piano, my little sister had wanted to play me a song, so I gave her a chance to play the song that she wanted.
