1. Because I am not much of a prankster I have mixed feelings about April Fools Day. 2. I have mixed feelings about April Fool's Day when I am on the receiving side of pranks. 3. I have mixed feelings about April Fools' Day, although, I do not like to be surprised myself it is still fun to play jokes on my friends.

But your first sentence uses a dependent clause (rather than a phrase), and your third sentence has a comma splice.
