THE PASSIVE


Use the verb with the base form of celebrate in two different sentences. 

Sentence 1 should be in the active voice; sentence 2 should reword the sentence to the passive voice.

1.The children celebrate Canada Day every year at the provincial park.

Passive
Every Canada Day is celebrated by the children at the provincial park.

Passive
We celebrated Joanna's birthday early this year.

1. Active - future perfect
This time next year, I will have celebrated my 30th birthday.

2. Passive - future perfect
This time next year, my 30th birthday will have been celebrated.
