VOCABULARY



Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. Use the following two words (note the part of speech) in one sentence.

Recidivist      (noun)       +       gratuitous      (adjective)

The recidivist,as a gratuitous gesture, often helped out at the homeless shelter serving meals, and supporting others because he hoped to prevent someone else from resorting to a life of crime.
