SYNONYMS AND ANTONYMS
We can describe a hard worker as someone who is assiduous. Provide a synonym and an antonym for this word, using each one in a complete sentence. Each participant should suggest a different word.

Synonym: diligent – The student was very diligent about completing her homework.
Antonym: slothful – The slothful student never completed his homework.
Synonym: persevering. Even though he kept missing the net, he kept on persevering until he got it in. antonym: Lazy. Since it was the weekend, I felt too lazy to finish my assignment.
