ACTIVE & PASSIVE, Jan. 3rd, 2013
Use the verb with the base form of talk in two different sentences. Sentence 1 should be in the active
voice; sentence 2 should reword the sentence to the passive voice.
STEPHANIE: Good sentences:-) JANIE: Thank you:-) JENNIFER:The first sentence is good, but the second sentence is still active voice--it's just in the simple past;-)

Susan talks constantly about the concert.
2. Passive Voice
The concert was talked about constantly by Susan.
The little boy talks about his first
day at kindergarten.
(Active voice)
The first day at kindergarten was talked about by the little boy.
(Passive voice)

They often talk about you.
2. passive voice
You are often talked by them.

JANIE: There's a word missing from the passive sentence;-)
ACTIVE: I want to talk to him.
PASSIVE: His grades were talked about at the family meeting.

You are often talked about by them.
1. Jason always talks to his dad about school.
2. Jason talked about his school achievements to his dad.
