*SENTENCE COMBINATION*

Learning to combine ideas into more complex sentences is an important writing skill. There are many ways to do this. Try to combine the following three sentences.

Sentence 1The celebration of Victoria Day is associated with the arrival of summer.
Sentence 2In many parts of Canada, it is still spring as the trees are just beginning to show their leaves.
Sentence 3: Last weekend, many gardeners flocked to greenhouses to prepare their gardens for summer.

Even though the celebration of Victoria Day is associated with the arrival of the Canadian summer, in many parts of the country, the trees are just beginning to show their spring leaves while gardeners are flocking to greenhouses to prepare their gardens for summer.

Last weekend, in many parts of Canada, many gardeners flocked to greenhouses to prepare their gardens for summer, although, the celebration of Victoria Day is associated with the arrival of summer, it is still spring, the trees are just beginning to show their leaves.

Good try, both of you. But I think your efforts change the meaning of the sentences a little too much.

Here is possible solution:

While the celebration of Victoria Day is associated with the arrival of summer, and many gardeners flocked to greenhouses to prepare their gardens, it is still spring in many parts of Canada as the trees are just beginning to show their leaves.
