I didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket, so I invested my money in three different companies.

1. to be a bad egg - My son's friend got in trouble at school today, and I hope he has learned his lesson; even so, it's ok because he's not a bad egg.
2. to put all of your eggs in one basket
I learned very quickly in Turkey that you should never put all your eggs in one basket.
3. My friend Krista went to the wrong airport, missed her plane, and had to buy a new ticket, boy did she get egg on her face.
