ACTIVE AND PASSIVE

Write two sentences using the word FLY. 

In the first sentence use the verb in the active voice, in the second sentence use it in the passive voice.

Active: Waiter -- there is a fly in my soup!

Passive: The soup was ruined by the fly in it.

Orville Wright flew the first airplane.

The first airplane was flown by Orville Wright.

Active:
The boy flew the kite in the park.

Passive:
The kite was flown by the boy in the park.

I think the mistake here was mine for not making my instructions clearer. I was expecting "fly" to be used as a verb. But you did use the active and passive voices correctly, Sarah.
