SYNONYMS AND ANTONYMS

We can describe someone who is self-satisfied as being complacent.

Provide a synonym and an antonym for this word, using each in a sentence. Each participant should suggest a different word.

Synonym- confident- Jack became a confident speaker in front of his classmates.
Antonym- discontent- Maria is discontent with her salary, so she is looking for another job.

Synonym: pleased - Jacklyn was pleased with the results of her exams.
Antonym: unhappy - Joey was unhappy his apartment, so he moved to a different one.

Synonym: satisfied - I am glad that you are satisfied with your performance today.
Antonym: dissatisfied - Sadly the judge was dissatisfied with your testimony.

synonym:Smug- The quarterback was very smug after winning the championship.
antonym:unsure- The student was unsure about the mark he will receive on his final assignment.

anyonym: insecure. She became insecure in her ability to finish the course.

Antonym: hesitant His hesitant management style caused the employees to lack confidence in him.

But, Rajwah, note that the passive voice uses the past participle form of the verb.
