Good try, Janet and Arzoo. But if you want to use the future perfect tense, you should use a time clue like "By the end of Halloween" or "After Halloween" and then apply the tense consistently:
By the end of Halloween, we will have gone trick-or-treating with the neighbours and their young children. At first, the little ones won't have known what to make of the activity...
