*ACTIVE vs. PASSIVE*

Write two sentences using the verb fly.

In the first sentence, use the word in the active voice; in the second sentence, use it in the passive voice.

Jaquelyn, you seem to be confusing the passive voice with the past tense; both of your sentences use the active voice.

Taylor, you turned fly into a gerund and an infinitive; neither is correct.

Logan, you used a gerund rather than the passive voice in the second sentence.

Here is a possible solution:

Active: "I flew the plane to Germany".
Passive: "The plane was flown to Germany".
