The word stem -mit (meaning "send") occurs in many words.
1. Add an affix to this stem to make another word. - Remit 2. Explain the meaning of the word and use it in a complete sentence. - To give back. I forgot to remit the payment for my son's soccer team.
Good try, Logan. But the meaning of your word should be a hint that it has a different origin. "Mitten" has nothing to do with "sending". It comes from Old French (meaning "half glove").
